Always nice to have a cup run. Pros: bit of extra cash in the coffers, build some results confidence. Cons: injuries, distraction from the main prize of staying in the League.
Overall my gut feel is let's have a run and get a big home draw in January. Results in the league will hopefully follow.

And yet at the same time BBC Look North News reported just last Monday about the increased number of racist verbal abuse on care workers. I wonder if there's a correlation with all this flag waving bollocks giving the racists the green light and whether the BBC dare call it out 🤔
