Once again I went on a quest to find a good GIF recorder for Linux. After trying several one, it just appear that peek (despite being deprecated) is still the best one.
Easy to use, but also the cleanest and lightest results, and with a scale option. None of the other tools were that great. #gamedev

Lately I also wrote a dumb script to convert hexa colors into float array. I already have a CSS theme, but need to use these colors in a shader. Rather than writing them by hand, the easiest solution was to give them as input to a script, log the result, and copy-paste it where needed. #gamedev

For example, I made early a script that generates random positions for tiles, so that I could test just the engine.

Later, I wrote a script to translate JSON coordinates to CSV, and backward. Allowing me to edit level-design from a spredsheet! #gamedev

Once again I find out that I work better with #shader using a visual editor rather than code. This time I used Nodetoy, and it was quickly satisfying! #gamedev

I also improved the lightning animation on tiles. It is now more responsive to the music, and just visually more expressive.

I released the 0.2 version of Symphonies Garden. It has now a responsive UX, making the game playable both on mobile and desktop!

Lushfoil Photography Sim by @lushfoil.bsky.social is one of the most incredible walksim I experienced since a long time! On top of its stunning visuals and sound-design, it has an excellent sense of pace and presentation.

Je n'ai pas envie de trop me plaindre des outils IA sur les réseaux, mais là je me sens obligé. Le mode Agent de Copilot sur VS Code est abyssal !

Pour un tas de demande simple il se contente de tourner en rond. Mais le plus drôle est sa réaction à "Continuer l'itération", systématiquement stupide.

I've published a update to Orchestre-JS. Loops should now sounds smoother with tracks playing completely (including outro after exit cue). And I added more scheduling options.
But most importantly: it has a proper logo now!
