It’s crazy pacers are closing without a pg or a center AND Walker and Ben

What happened?

Okay Rasputin Pacers made laugh. Ridiculous

It reminded me a lot of the Knicks game. The Knicks were up 17 but for almost that entire game I felt good about how the Pacers were playing. And when Brunson went out. I thought we had them. Just a really bad 4th quarter bench stretch. Felt same going into 4th on Thursday.

Well I just think the most important question from this game is ‘was the first half an outlier or not?’ The second half is evidence it was because the Pacers were the better team in second half. Not conclusive evidence. But I’ll bet second half is closer to the series than first half.
June 7, 2025 at 7:57 PM
Come on. That’s a silly response. I know you don’t think that’s how it works. I was very happy with pacers third quarter. You weren’t?
June 7, 2025 at 7:52 PM
Pacers looked good the whole second half really except for the 2 minute stretch to start the fourth with almost all bench players. Won third by three and only turned it over twice I think. And won the fourth but ten. OKC was not better for ‘most’ of that game. Way better in first half.

And you RADICALLY underestimate Ben Shep. He’s probably the best contain defender on Pacers. He’s too small to be only defender on shai. But Caruso from the perimeter. Come on man. Feels like you’ve never watched him.

Nesmith and Nembhard held shai to 5-17 when they were guarding him.

One shot in the OT against Knicks. Obi slammed a putback so Pacers still 2 pts off it.

I found you guys comparing OKC to warriors ironic because the Pacers are the correct comp there. Led by a star that doesn't do it like any star before. Sort of thought as soft, fluky. Insane offense. Only diff is the warriors had that reg season record. But uninjured Pacers are on 60 win pace.

Reminds me of last year. I would not be shocked if Pacers win game 5 by thirty. Slowly solving the Knicks at the same time they are wearing them down.

You are overthinking this. If you include playoffs. Pacers have second best record in league since Dec 15. Then go look at their records against good teams. Then just remember that the Celtics said the Pacers were the most difficult contest last year. Then add in a year of continuity and growth.

Ben Sheppard wasn't awful in the regular season. He just wasn't hitting shots for awhile and the ceiling is obviously higher with Walker. I'm not at all surprised he's playing well.

40 is a nice round number. It's not really cherry picking in the way you are using it.
May 25, 2025 at 5:28 AM
Haha. Ok.
May 22, 2025 at 10:53 PM
Yeah I think he was thinking of Celtics Pacers from the year before. It was such an insane take if you'd actually watched the Pacers.

But it's nice to see that humans on social media are still humans on social media even away from the cesspool of twitter. I don't need to talk to you anymore, but thank you for sharing your opinion! I hope your day goes well.

Wait you wanted me to do an analysis? Haha. You asked for one thing useful. I gave it to you. The fact you can't even admit it's useful shows you are not an honest interlocutor. This is five years old! Anyone who knows anything about AI or research medicine knows what a breakthrough this was.
