Conclusions:

The study highlights that although many EM clinicians are comfortable with EoLC discussions, significant challenges persist, particularly concerning training and infrastructure. Addressing these issues could enhance the standard of EoLC in Irish EDs.

3. Infrastructure Concerns: only 11.6% felt that the physical environment is conducive to providing quality EoLC.
