A big cluster of lavender colored stalks grow mostly straight up out of the ground. A smaller patch. Unlike other coral-type fungi, the fruiting bodies don't branch off, giving the appearance of a bunch of worms standing on their tippy toes This shot show how many were in the area, with a cluster faintly visible in the distance away from the batch in center frame.
