It will take some time but trying to construct a new narrative for Israeli history. And, thanks and I always am impressed by your insights.

I would not compare the two at least on this level. I think we are at last seeing the end of the post-Ottoman and colonial legacy. Trump is breaking all the models.

Yes, but I think it was the same story from the start. In a new narrative I am working on, I even call it a type of apartheid; certainly the Zionists were not alone in obtaining super rights, Maronites and others did as well. But for Palestine it was much more evident.

Maybe on paper at one time, but that is a hard sale to make. Sure this held true for Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria, but I cannot think of one moment this held true for Palestine.

Now reading it again, it seems that the closing of airspace is only for planes bringing arms to Israel.

I listened to his Fidan's speech and it sounded like it was the case that they had already implemented the severing of ties (as if there was nothing new). The only takeway I had was that it is closing its airspace. I think some news agencies translated it wrong. Did you get a chance to hear it?

It was over a year ago; I need to go back and find the exact date. Goods can still come from Turkish ports, just not via Turkish ships. Thus, oil will continue to flow.

This is becoming a common trope within the world of online antisemitism. Disgusting.
