I think there’s a chance this is a response to the progressive wins in the recent midterm. The only thing the Schumer’s Democrats fear more than Republicans is young progressives. Schumer may genuinely believe that democratic socialists are more dangerous than Trump and he’s trying to kill momentum.

Ironically, caving at this point kinda makes all those “it’s the democrats fault” banners Trump had them put on government websites correct.

I feel like not enough credit is given to the ability to quickly integrate new information. As soon as those glasses left his face and he saw somebody booking it into the crowd his brain should have said “those glasses no longer exist to me, they are no longer mine” in 0.1 seconds.

Don’t get me wrong, raising prices probably isn’t the first thing I’d do as right now increased prices will just translate into higher corporate prices and paying more for broken, half finished bullshit. But if the work force unionized, I’d be willing to pay more knowing they got a fair deal.

Video games are going to need to get more expensive if we want everyone who works on them to be fairly paid and well treated. It’s probably the hobby with the highest cost-to-entertainment-time ratio but gamers are taking advantage of an underpaid and overworked industry to keep it that way.
