I think it's actually factory colour, "Byte Blue", that was never offered in NA. There's also a dark metallic blue/purple called "Biophilic Blue Pearl" that's really cool that we never got.

It's a price thing. They don't care about the safety. I am convinced they only are bothered that performance is available to more people now. (And many people don't even make use of the full potential of it).

Interestingly, HMG is entering the endurance scene with the Genesis LMDh program next year where Porsche is scaling back efforts.

Not to mention Audi entering F1. VW brands seem interested in wasting their time lately.

Then again, F1 has little to do with road cars these days so maybe that doesn't matter so much.

Even if it likely wouldn't help me directly, it would help so many others in the city and get cars off the roads.
