USAF Veteran, progressive, pro-choice, anti-fascist, ex-pat American living in A Coruna Spain .
Also an acrylic paint pouring artist, photographer, writer of words and former resident of the Pacific NW.
Today's work:
The image on the left is the first try with a new 'pillow' paint and the new pouring medium I've been trying for the last couple of days. I scraped it and re-poured to get the image on the right. Neither is a 'best of' but I'll take the lessons learned and go forward from here.

Folks are frustrated with Dems in Congress right now.

Here’s my solution - get the hell out of DC and hold some hearings.

I love town halls, but we need to focus on people right now. Have folks come testify about how these cuts are affecting them.

Get local media there.

Make it real.

More poured acrylic paint artworks from my A Coruña studio. Always experimenting with the mediums, the paints and the application. Comments appreciated.

This series is on 40cm square canvases or on 20x30cm canvases. I'm working up to the bigger canvases slowly.

Another acrylic paint pour today. I'm playing with pouring mediums and heavy body paints. Cells not as good in this one. A lesson being learned.

Another poured acrylic paint piece. I love the cells and blending affects.

I've deactivated my Threads and Instagram accounts permanently.
My Facebook account will go dark in 24 hours.

If it wasn't so ubiquitous here in Europe as a means of communication for nearly everything and everyone - I'd be killing off my WhatsApp account too.

I will adjust. Of that I am sure.

I made a few new pours. The learning proceeds apace.

Oh look...new phone.
It turns out that dropping your phone on a stone floor will kill it dead. Even if it's in a so-called tough case.
Le sigh.
At least the Pixel 9Pro XL has an amazing camera and is purty.

Sunny Thursday on the harbor in A Coruña, Galicia, Espana. It's that time tucked between desanyu and siesta. Best to have a caffe along with a small piece of Limon plum cake making for a lovely snacko. My Cedar Dawg has already opted for the siesta portion of the afternoon activities.

Here are a couple of photos from a walkabout in A Coruña over the weekend.

I've found a new hobby. Acrylic Pouring. I've only done 5 pieces, a couple of them ended up scraped and re-made.
It's great therapy when I accidentally listen to anything about TFG and his evil minions.

In difficult times, more than ever, you need to have a battle cry of faith. Create a sound of victory. “Yes, this problem is big, but I know my dick is bigger.”
