Is this a rouge latin mass church or one that has been granted under the new rules that were clarified a few years back by Francis?

I get confused everyday…

I mean let’s be real… I don’t think it happens for 25 years

So, I do like the idea of keeping it lower for at least part of the stretch around the park. The land bridges to me are also far more realistic than the full tunnel proposal they had initially.

Even though the intersections on the south aren't great, it does slow traffic down and create more logical flow. (Especially if the Stadium gets redone with a diverging diamond.)

On the north, right now it's safe & easy to walk/bike to the park from the west. Bringing all that traffic up stops that

Oh, I think the current freeway setup is abysmal. Like, it needs to be reimagined and redone/gone. Full stop.

I want to like "end middle" for the boulevard but as you said, the intersections are 🥴. It's why I think "end north" is best aligned with what I'd like to see.

Plus, I'll admit, I don't want to completely give up quick & easy access to 94. It's part of the reason I wanted to live here - easy access.

I would've done a lot different before 1962 when it opened if I could, but seeing as we are where we are, I have a hard time going that far back. I admit it.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think ultimately it all boils down to raising it up and having more intersections or narrowing what exists but keeping a decent chunk lowered but with cross traffic & such to limit speeds where it can.

The elevation changes make doing a lot just very difficult.

So, to that point, I like the northern 1/2 of "North" better and the southern 1/2 of "South" better.

If I were benevolent decision maker, that's what I'd offer as my "preferred alternative."

I will admit, loss of 44th St for rail-fanning and to have an "easy out" from Brewer Games to go north is a bit sad, but I can't exactly say I'm surprised by it at all.

It's hard to tell from these renderings, but "End Freeway South" looks like it's decent too.

Maybe keeps a little more of the "expressway" feel than some folks are comfortable with, but I think it does a good job of connecting around for everyone.

Nah, this was always expected.

Kinser ran a stronger campaign than anyone in over 15 years for that spot.

Millennials are rightfully terrified of it. We saw the effects of the Great Recession directly and know stagflation is that much worse bc eveyone told us the GR “wasn’t that bad.”

Google what happened to Sam Kuffel in Milwaukee ☹️

Some of us know and have been preaching that gospel for years!

That it’s never really heard on terrestrial radio in regular anymore is a damn shame. It’s why I knew to buy “Making Movies”!
