This is honestly so much better than you can imagine. Almost like a lemon pie, but a great crusy and awesome with the cream.

I liked SoR4 but that game feels less organic and more like you need to learn to exploit the best moves. this is really old school in a way I think most folks will bounce off of

the game has a lot of depth if you're not just credit feeding, so it feels authentic to an arcade experience. it doesn't have that immediate "juice" that something like SoR4 has that immediately makes it accessible, but I think this game pays dividends if you want to invest in something

managed to clear the game with someone just now. we softlocked once lol. then started over and managed to get through the game. he was also a big DD fan, which I guess is the nice part of playing this game. only hardcore DD fans are probably playing it. felt good to be with someone who "gets it"
