🤰Pregnancy is a masterclass in how hormones shape energy. ⚡️

First trimester? Pure survival mode. 🥵

Second trimester? 🧠 Brain on overdrive, body ready to GO. 🏃‍♀️

I went from barely functioning to unstoppable overnight. Why? What does this mean for women’s health beyond pregnancy?

I have questions.

Why is women’s health sidelined?

We juggle careers, families, & everything else. Yet, or as a result, our own health is often neglected.

Fatigue? “Drink more coffee.”
Brain fog? “Try sleeping more.”
Iron deficiency? “Take a supplement.”

And when it doesn’t work? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Crickets. We deserve better.

“We are hollowing out our government in a way that is going to hurt people and is going to get people killed,” said Amy Paris, who had been working to help reform the US organ transplantation network. “That is the scariest thing in the world.”

The irony of the second trimester:

🔹 More energy than I’ve had in months
🔹 A brain that won’t shut off
🔹 The worst sleep of my life

How does it make sense to feel so alive while also being so sleep-deprived?

Bodies are weird. 🔬Science, explain this to me.

The second trimester energy boost is WILD.

I’m sleeping terribly, my brain won’t shut off, yet somehow I have the energy to do everything.

After weeks of exhaustion, this feels almost supernatural. Where does this come from? Why does it hit so suddenly?

Does everyone experience this shift?? 🫠

After having a baby 👩‍🍼, I learned the hard way that health is often the first thing to fall through the cracks.

Extreme fatigue, stress, and burnout aren’t normal. They’re signs we need better solutions.

I'd love to know: What’s been your biggest struggle with energy levels?
