How do you balance intention and intuition in your creative process? Too much intention feels restrictive, too much intuition can leave us drifting. I reflect on this balance and how ideas like Ma, Wabi-Sabi, and Yūgen are guiding me in my new blog post: isabelcurdes.com/blog/the-art...

Dark waves battle
Against the North Wind—
White manes blazing…

#stormdarragh is still shaking my van while I am mesmerized and inspired by the wind and the sea - luckily I spent the last night safe and warm in a B&B

I have started to write more and more poems and combine them with the images that inspired them. What do you think?

After every storm comes clarity—also after ‘Bert.’ I just published a blog post exploring how my journey shifted from escape to introspection and creative purpose. isabelcurdes.com/blog/a-journ... What moments or experiences have brought you clarity in your own life?

Christmas Charity Print

There are thousands of people including children who go to sleep homeless and without a warm meal.

I am offering Walking Wenceslas and Winter Wellington for only £15 each plus postage and all profits going to homeless charities.

Thank you.

Embrace the Chill

I’m such a four-season girl, but there’s something magical about winter that always pulls me in. I love the feeling of being alive again—the wind blowing in my face, the chill waking up every sense. #purity #Winterlandscapes #Seasonalmagic #seasonlove #auvergne #photography

I am quite fond of a square crop and minimalist images. Life is complicated enough at times, so I like to keep my photography simple.

From my Horse series. I worked with these horses for over a year before I photographed them. This is Toby - a very nervous horse that I worked closely with in order for him to gain my trust - all photos are taken in a field & close up - I am lying on the floor next to him. It was freezing rain.
