After useful feedback, I should clarify: this stat refers to *an* SME and *a* large corporate. Obviously the latter are much larger.

Some eye opening radicalism exposed in this excellent column from on.ft.com/3CWLZz6 @stephenkb.bsky.social - the idea that making low wage hires more expensive is a feature, not a bug, of Labour's initial policy moves.
It's a thought so counterintuitive to most commentators that it's ignored 1/
