I want to be able to form a union in the game and immersively experience what it's like to be fired by corporate union busters. Only then can the game be said to be *truly* realistic.

Imo what we call "fat-phobia" usually comes down to just hating the poor for failing to have the money, time, and/or energy to buy and cook healthier, more expensive food

"If governments wanted food—ideally healthy food—to be cheaper, they would subsidize it at the point of sale.” They don't do this, however, and Monbiot explains how instead most of the subsidies go towards the wealthiest farmers who instead use it to raise food prices.

Was reading this book called Regenesis by Monbiot (highly recommend), and he talks about how the cheapest food is also obesogenic which explains its high rate among the very poor. Gives the case that for the health of people (and the planet), the gov't should subsidize fruits and veg.

Um, hi, I'm one of many Will Stancil's alt accounts that have gained sentience and split from the hive-mind. Just wanted to say that you're doing a good job and I'm proud of you.

[Sponsor Voice]: Huh, seems like the world is ending doesn't it? Buildings are uprooted from the ground due to the inexplicable cessation of rotation. Mile high tsunamis and earthquakes devestate civilian population centers. In times like these, don't you just wanna sit back, relax, and grab a Coc--
