To many conservatives are ok with foreign military intervention in canada to oust our government. Pierre blew his unheard of lead in the last election and lost his seat. They had a pro forma by election in Hannah Alberta to get him his seat back because he can't be leader without it.

A neighbor shot off a truly astounding amount of fireworks at midnight. We were expecting a celebration of course but that was a zillion dollars in fireworks. It brought back childhood memories. Good way to start the year!

I am excited for Christmas. This year we are changing it up. The big dinner will be tonight with the in-laws and a special breakfast will be held tomorrow.

Went to my fiance favorite Indian place for our anniversary has some absolutely delicious food. I was up all night. Apparently because I eat such bland sad Canadian food my body doesn't understand what that flavorful stuff was I had last night.

I just finished @wilwheaton.net book "Still just a geek" and GODDAM! It was a tour. He goes though all of the stuff, some good, some super funny. Others very sad and introspective. I would suggest it to anyone who's a Geek or like Geek adjacent.
