I think a thing we'll learn tonight is that people fucking hate what is going on and they will straight ticket vote against anyone involved in starving people while pillaging the country and kidnapping their neighbors. I don't think it matters at all who that person is.

Don’t you dare call us fascists, they say, as they force people off the airwaves for criticizing them while vowing to crush and criminalize their opposition.

Why do strangers ask "How's it going?" when they mean "Excuse me, I need to get past you to grab my mug." Why ask how it's going when you clearly don't care how it's going?! Every time I have to fight the impulse to answer the question and remind myself that no one cares how it's going. Infuriating.
