I've been attempting to retire an old email address, so I've been changing my contact email at various websites and businesses. I went to do so at Dell's website and saw the attached warning.

WTF, Dell?

When I lived in Toronto for a few years, a vintage poster for Spaceballs was exposed on the side of a shop on Eglinton Ave near my home.

It's apparently since been painted over, but G**gle Maps remembers.

There's mural on a wall near my workplace that was painted in the nineties and, to my knowledge, has never been touched up since. However, at some point vents were drilled through the wall to horrific effect.

Time to update my intro!

I'm Chris Tihor, a game writer and designer, and founder of @ironiciconicstudios.ca. I've worked on a bunch of things but may be best known for working on Nancy Drew and Poirot games. More recently I worked on Monaco 2 and (the sadly cancelled) Life by You.

I finished watching the first season of North of North last night and it was entirely delightful. I adore shows like this one that give me a glimpse into another culture. I can't wait for a second season.

I adore "Is it Cake?" I'm a fan of baking competitions like the Great British Bake-Off and, like that show, "Is It Cake?" has an anti-competition vibe that I really like. The competitors support and cheer each other on and act more like friends than rivals. Plus, the illusion cakes are incredible.
