It allows you to keep touch ID while using your own keyboard. I personally hate typing on an apple keyboard.

Now I have a mechanical keyboard I like and still have touch ID.

I bought the apple keyboard broken on eBay. So saved a bit of e-waste and saved money too.

Terry picture aside, here's a before and after adding Underware 3d printed cable management to my desk.

There's some legacy cable management still in place, and Mac mini added as well.

Look into lithopanes. Here's a lamp I made my wife a few years back. Fully 3d printed. Holds 5 lithopanes panels that are easily swappable.

Success! Just installed and it works just as expected.

The worm drive clamp for my larger pipes gives a bit of wiggle when the mechanism activates, but it still opened and closed correctly.

If I had smaller pipes I've no doubt it would perfectly firm during operation.
