I'll tell you how. Go to GOP areas and swing areas that went for Trump, like @sanders.senate.gov has. Except also be blunt. Don't be afraid to say, "These people are fucking you, and you KNOW they're fucking you and betraying you. So let's do something about it!" Invite locals to tell their stories.
Emotionally, my reaction is the leopards. But rationally I'm stuck: how do we reach these people? How do we convince someone "the rapist conman from the ruin-everything party is lying and will hurt you"? It's self-evident, and yet they all refuse to understand until Trump/GOP injure them personally.
People’s reactions to these stories tend to be of the leopards-eating-faces variety but this is a great piece of reporting in part about how voters very disconnected from politics make their choices.
