🔴 On Nov.18, the 2nd appellate hearing concluded in the case of Georgia’s imprisoned journalist Mzia Amaglobeli.

💢 The prosecutor presented a forensic report on Amaglobeli’s phone - after 9 months - which found no evidence of a “pre-planned attack".

They kept Mzia Amaglobeli in pre-trial detention for over 7 months, citing “risk of reoffending” and “influencing the investigation” — over a slap lasting seconds. All while she was on a 38-day hunger strike, losing her eyesight.
