as someone who DIDN'T read the book, I completely agree. I have beef with Tumblr for making me think this was a good movie lol
Went into the new Long Walk film with low expectations and was still disappointed. It's bad, and not just in a bad adaptation of a good book bad, but "this is stupid" bad. It feels extremely lazy, the messaging is bizarre, and they "magical black personed" a character to cringe levels. What a waste.

on the way to Coco's eye doctor she was crying and scratching her crate. her doctor suggested playing calming music on the way back. I played a genshin impact album for the soft, beautiful orchestral music, and it did the trick. she almost fell asleep lol
