You are correct. It was about 200' from shore at high tide, in front of a house that had other watercraft. My best guess is that the person who owns it likes to swim out to the paddleboard and relax a bit before swimming back home. Hope they bring a washcloth!

That is really cool! I took this picture while kayaking in the Puget Sound, south of Seattle. There are no hippos or gators around here, so maybe this Heron was just practicing. I didn't have the heart to tell him that his paddleboard was upside down, or that it was missing a paddle

I want to do something positive but have such a hard time. I think the most personally impactful thing we can do is support refugees and send direct support to Ukraine (u24.ua.gov is the way I support them directly)

Thanks for the kind words. It was amazing to see people come together and work to diagnose and fix such a difficult bug over some long and sleepless nights, all while remaining kind to each other and practicing patience with everyone on the troubleshooting call

You're right. This action is unprecedented in the United States. Never before has a president targeted the career of civil employees. It's not unusual for political appointees or heads of government agencies to be replaced, but this is different and deeply troubling

Thank you for sharing! Here's an NBC article with some background on the facts so far: www.nbcnews.com/politics/nat...
Senior FBI official forcefully resisted Trump administration firings
Brian Driscoll, the acting FBI director and head of the bureau's Newark field office, pushed back so aggressively that some feared he would be dismissed.

The people who would be affected include technical specialists who have taken down malware botnets and unmasked APT threat actors, people who rescue kidnapped kids, people who capture violent criminals, and more. Firing these people is not right and it hurts us all to let it happen

Targeting FBI line level employees sends a chilling warning to all employees in federal law enforcement to not work on investigations that might affect the President or any of his associates. If they are fired, we all lose their years of skills and capabilities on all the cases they work on (2/3)
