I did some math in August & noticed that if we sell 5000 advent calendars, I can fund @skypeascientist.bsky.social 2025 without getting any grants. I wrote grants anyway, but I wanted some backup!

So far, 0 grants for 2025.

But the price of eggs was too hight, right? The Biden/Harris administration used various tools to reduce prices for costly items such as health care. Media wanted to talk about inflation on goods that people spend little money on - eggs and bacon.

Key insight here. Biden administration officials have taken on the rich/big corporations in important ways, even if they didn't lean into that on the campaign trail and voters might not have noticed. The wealthy noticed---and struck back, spending heavily to beat Harris. prospect.org/power/2024-1...
