Last year, the Abdorrahman Boroumand Center released an interactive map documenting 910 extrajudicial killings linked to the Islamic Republic over the past 46 years.
According to New York prosecutors, the Iranian government paid $500,000 to Vladimir Amirov and Rafael Amurow to coordinate the assassination attempt. Four Iranian nationals, including a senior IRGC officer, have also been charged in connection with the plot and are believed to remain in Iran.

Following the verdict, Alinejad called the ruling “a victory for other dissidents who continue to fight for freedom and refuse to remain silent.”
