Just finished watching #Exhuma #파묘 (2024). Amazing atmospheric horror that interweaves Korean traditional shamanism with the historical traumas of Imperial Japanese colonial rule. If you enjoyed The Wailing/곡성 (2016), this one might also be for you!

The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty: I borrowed it from my neighborhood library, finished it, and loved it so much that I ran out to buy a personal copy before I even returned it. The first three pages of the book give me chills. Such evocative writing!

Stayed up far too late to finish The Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker. I had read this one slowly in between other books to savour it, and am sad to be done! 💙📚👀
