I would also suggest the PTA consider using something like the Courageous Conversations curriculum to help its membership reflect on their internalized -isms and its impact on communities and educational spaces.

I would strongly suggest the PTA hold or support the holding of Know Your Rights workshops for ALL parents, but especially those who are most at risk. Not-at-risk families can be allies by having the information to support at-risk families should there be a need to do so.
