I realized after the fact that the katana was a kill bill replica.
It's also missing a "koiguchi" piece that protects the scabbard from splitting. I'm thinking of adding my own
Once that is complete, I can return to the mountains and defeat my friend in a duel to the death and reclaim my true sword

I got a new sword yesterday. I polished it today and I feel so proud of myself lmao.
It's funny because I thought polishing was a masters art but I just put compound on the blade and scrubbed it for a couple hours during my meeting haha.
I also redid the sageo, the string on the saya/scabbard.

Yesterday! There were umamusume meet ups, arknights fish walking around, a talent show and cosplay contest!
I met a lot of friends from all around who came here to party haha.
I also had dinner with a group!
It was super fun and it was nice to catch up and plan to do things together in the future!

My button broke off and I learned how to do knots and stuff with leather working stuff and I failed already by using the wrong color lol.
But it's thick polyester/nylon thread so i't never break off ever again haha.

I've been practicing knife sharpening for over a decade and finally started to enter the mastery stage about a year or two ago.
I've gotten really good at it to the point where I could easily freehand-sharpening without anchoring my arms anywhere for the perfect angle.
It made me think a lot.

The food was quite nice. It was a bit lonely but it made me think about a larger space I wanted to buy so we could host events maybe weddings too haha.
