Two nights ago, in the middle of the night a I gathered my fumos and got ready to sleep, oomfie dropped me 10 minutes worth of wild lore that I can't share with anyone else because of NDA and it's been on my mind for the past two days lmao.

It feels so weird that the majority of my hobby life is what I call "work related" now haha.
I didn't want to mix my work-life balance because now I'll connect it with stressful things, but on the upside I love doing those things lol.

I got a new sword yesterday. I polished it today and I feel so proud of myself lmao.
It's funny because I thought polishing was a masters art but I just put compound on the blade and scrubbed it for a couple hours during my meeting haha.
I also redid the sageo, the string on the saya/scabbard.

I met a lot of friends from all around who came here to party haha.
I also had dinner with a group!
It was super fun and it was nice to catch up and plan to do things together in the future!

I just learned that adding salt to acidic foods or more specifically tasting salt first, prevents the sour tastes by attaching to your tastebuds so that the acidic chemicals don't interact as much with taste receptors.
Specifically pomegranate, adding salt to that makes it very tasty haha.
