So I've been on a Taskmaster kick since learning it was on YouTube for free and y'all I can't believe I didn't know it sooner. This show scratches the Dropout/Game Changer itch so nicely. Also got me thinking, hey @theameliaproject.bsky.social, do we think the gang likes the show?

My tips for artists posting on Bluesky when it comes to alt text:
Make a file that you put a copy of your alt text into every time you post art. That way you can just copy and paste that alt text the next time you post that art.
You can also use the same alt text on Mastodon and other sites!

OK so people are waffling on alt text again. I'm an artist and also I am blind. So, I'm going to talk about this.
The TL;DR is if you don't alt text, your post dies with me. I will never re-anything it, unless I alt text it myself. Some have said I can, and that's cool.

So I just took a poke around the accessibility setting for this here app and I'm glad to see you can turn on "require alt text". Next step is actually integrating with my phone's text accessibility settings cause it ain't great which is why I've not used it much.

I'm on an @theameliaproject.bsky.social to construct a timeline since the timing of the show came up on the (very unofficial) discord. Two takeaways. I love this show very much. And I'm so glad I didn't have to wait between season 2 and 3. I don't envy anyone who did.
