I honestly dislike it on my Xbox Elite controller. The added weight in the stick from the magnet meant if I let the stick go after pulling to one side, it could overshoot back the other way, creating a new input. Have to set unreasonable deadzones to avoid it.
Hopefully not the case with Steam's.

LTT's video at the end seems to imply they are giving up on the base station stuff and hoping other companies pick it up instead..
I get they wanna target the Quest market too. But it's weird to just drop the core fanbase who invested in that ecosystem so much.
Hopefully not entirely true...

Yeah haha I think that's what I'd most think of too, though Ibuprofen commonly looked like this in my house too, and Nyquil pills!

Aren't gel capsules just a sub-category of pill? That was always my assumption (looking it up seems to confirm that too).

Also these tend to go down easier without water than a powder-based pill. Gets slick with your saliva!

There is a "show less like this" and "show more like this" to help instruct it better.
But imo bsky.app/profile/bsky... is so much nicer.

The first game was such a good experience, but quite short due to limited budget. It's a very passionate team and I'm glad they got to fully execute their vision now.

But yeah, really sad it's under the thumb of Microsucks..

Honestly doesn't even need a reboot, the aesthetics and story allow it to hold up really well!
And recently, with the help of LTT, it got remastered in very high quality!
Would be cooler to see a continuation of it imo.

Literally same scenario, got bulk chicken from Costco to meal prep... Expiry is tomorrow 😔

That's an... interesting solution haha.
I just send it in a personal server that just has me in it 👀

Not that I think they'll be majorly successful. Especially if Linux manages to really grow (partly thanks to Valve). But publishing is a solid thing to focus on, assuming they don't fumble it hard (good chance).
October 22, 2025 at 11:23 PM
I think they realize the writing is on the wall for competing primarily with hardware, as diminishing graphical improvements is making for less interest in the wasteful purchasing of new, limited purpose hardware (consoles).

I imagine they want to be a giant publisher/storefront for long-term hopes
October 22, 2025 at 11:23 PM
I think their hope is ecosystem reliance and a sense of options easing people in. That it's this interconnected family of devices that caries content forward indefinitely. Which in a sense it does, better then dedicated consoles.

Then why do they still sell a game on Steam that leverages genAI for its core gameplay, called "AI: Art Imposter". They're profiting off it and an unethical dataset.

It's hard to take the word of someone paid to make a company look as good as they can.
The developer's history heavily implies pro-AI
AI: Art Impostor on Steam
AI: Art Impostor is an AI drawing party game for 3-8 players. You are a progressive artist who commands AI to generate images, and you don't need aesthetic talent to draw good artwork. It only takes 5...

As a kid, I was hooked the moment I hopped down from a ledge. First time I'd seen an isometric game do that outside cutscenes. And even to this day it's rare such games will deal with implementing that.
The writing/art/mechanics are top notch. It's a shame it didn't get a lot of release attention.

Really sad to see, but not surprising from Hoyo.
Each IP has it's own fairly separate studio at least.

ZZZ fans can at least hopefully not worry, as the producer & his team pretty firmly stated they want the artistic content to "come from their own minds, not AI". And the game def gives that sense.
