The biggest point of this, besides “please donate to this lovely charity”, is to emphasise that despite their own struggles, they were still willing to lend a hand to newbies like us. That’s community. Really hoping there’s something we can do to lend a hand as well!

And please, if there are meeting times or venues that make this group accessible for you— whatever that may mean— please say! Not just regarding childcare or disability or typical access concerns. Anything.

I guess this is a good place to say that Inverness Greenspace will always hold space for children and their caregivers. You can bring your kids to a meeting. They can come with on a litter pick. Etc. Childcare is a hard barrier and it shouldn’t be.
