I recently reached out to the owner of the Clay Studio in Merkinch to see if we could collaborate, or if she had any advice for a new group like ours. She responded so warm and welcoming! Despite, as I later found out, some ongoing funding struggles. If you can spare £, do donate: gofund.me/b8b36dd2

Litter pick pics from this morning! Nothing like some direct action to engage a community.

Happy pride month from the queer person who runs this initiative. I’m sharing this because it’s the best summation of pride month I’ve ever read. I am proud of the tenacity of my communities; queer communities and climate communities alike. We’re fighting against the odds, let’s do so together.
Pride isn't about being "proud of being queer".

That's silly. Almost like how it's silly to be proud of where you're born, just because you were born there. Right? You didn't earn that. You didn't work for that.

No, "LGBTQ+ Pride" is about how we've weathered discrimination and persecution.

Found out about Green Hive Nairn today. Sounds like great folks we could learn from and work together with! The Nairn River Enterprise in particular.

Spending a lot of time lately thinking about how to include parents/carers of young children in green activism. Not just for parents’ sake, but because it’s important for children to be welcome in activism in their own right. Everything I do in Inverness Greenspace I do for my daughter, honestly.
