I don't see myself getting a switch 2 anytime soon yet I'm very much considering dropping 300 bucks to get a Sega Genesis console with the Sega cd attachment.

Today was the first time I listened to a Avril lagrieve song (sorry for butchering the name)and it was darn catchy gonna listen to more of her stuff soon.

This old Anime Network advert is so uniquely awful but it's indicative of a very specific, arguably simpler time in the anime industry.
Freshly post-crash Sentai (reformed from the ruins of ADV) trying to regain a foothold in a struggling industry. This was their solution.
I can't hate it.

My 2012 Blu-ray of Grave of the Fireflies doesn’t need replacing with no 4k release out there. And yet, the very real ad below autoplayed on my old Sentai copy. Made me want to snap the disc in half and overnight the Gkids steelbook:
