If it’s not bad enough my neighbor is obnoxiously playing loud music through the Bluetooth/aux, he keeps getting cellphone notifications, so over top of the terrible music I keep hearing the random iPhone ding.
I will never understand the lack of self awareness and common courtesy people have.

Sometimes I hate the fact that I’m incredibly disciplined.
A night like tonight I just want to say fuck it and smoke the night away.
But I create rules and disciplines for myself specifically NOT to smoke and bed rot when I’m in this rough of a mental space. To raw dignity through the pain.

The truth of the matter is grandparents are truly the bridge. My grandma on my dad’s side died in 2005. The big family gatherings on that side ended immediately after that. It’s something 20 years later he still hasn’t gotten over and understandably.
Just got an earful from my uncle 😭
He’s my last living uncle on my dads side and I haven’t seen him in awhile.
I just hate the “I’m 72 I don’t know when I’m leaving” convo. It makes me incredibly uncomfortable because I don’t have much close family left.

The second someone starts saying “You can’t help someone who doesn’t want to help themselves” regarding mental illness, it tells me immediately that they don’t actually understand mental illness at all.

I paused Stranger Things to start watching Power because episode 8 is notoriously known at the “death” episode in each season/series. A lot of that tonight. RIP to this season’s episode 8 fallen soldiers.
Power has some obnoxiously amateur writing and plot holes sometimes. But the entertainment value when it’s good is VERY high.
Overall despite some nitpicks, I’m highly impressed with this final season of Power Force.
