Yes the Israel lobby is uniquely powerful, yet the UAE gets away with crucial support for the party that did the Darfur ethnic cleansing, and is now in the drivers seat of a vicious civil war in Sudan.
As for popularity Israel is burning the candle in both ends.

Fascinating that you should bring up AIPAC, out of all the big money lobbyist organizations, as a straw man gotcha. But then as a true believer Zionist you must always confound Zionism with Judaism, and by extension the interests of Israel with that of the United States.

The Gulf is throwing around serious money in DC. That jet is just the icing on the cake. If they had just a little bit of AIPAC’s ambition who’s to say where MENA policy would be crafted?

There’s a ‘Great Man of History’ delusion among at least the top of the capitalist class. I always saw the Kochs as defensive in nature, they were looking out for their interests. This newer group have more in common with Mussolini or Tito in personally shaping mankinds future.

Anyone reading this potential cave by Dems on the Government shutdown as “poor strategy” or Schumer’s failure is living in a professional wrestling scripted fantasy.
Dems know a “Repub promise” on healthcare is bullshit.

He misheard. He thought the question was on the May 68 riots as they were happening.
As for the GOP even in broad unpopularity there’s still plenty of money to be grifted. Just look at the money wasted on the low energy dunce in New York.

The catalyst was Israel bombing Gaza back to the stone age. Tucker and Owens have never been more popular, and Kirk could do f all about it. Just look at Shapiro who draws little attention even with big money behind, while Fuentes is being rehabilitated among many GOPs despite his anti-Israel stance
