blocking basically any and every word and tag even semi-NSFW-adjacent along with setting all the moderation settings to hide porn, so that if I see it on my discover/for you page, then that means you're bypassing the filtering somehow and I have to assume it is being done intentionally.

in calls screensharing or on stream. Posting untagged shit just gives more of a reason for shitty age verification laws to be passed, as well as it just is rude. Again, post whatever, just FUCKING TAG IT. It is FREE. And if anything, it probably would help with discovery for your intended audience-

On that topic, it is disgusting that people INTENTIONALLY do not tag their NSFW stuff and find ways to bypass it with misspelling tags to get past muted words/tags. I do not care what people post, on their own accounts, just fucking TAG IT FOR FUCKS SAKE so I don't have to see it when I'm scrolling-

yeah discordification of the internet has been such a shitty side-effect of discord being the standard platform for everything. Everything is deep-web now which sucks. As with many things lately, hopefully some sorta bubble pops and pushes everyone to rediscover older/better ways of doing things

I've not been a fan of discord for quite a while, so in a way I'm glad they're finally doing this so I can have a final reason to ditch them. There are/were much better ways to do monetization that would've been better, but they've proven to not really care about users or take problems seriously :/
