Me going home after a long day at work to relax and play a game that makes me unimaginably angry

truly the most important part about linux: being able to OWN your computer, instead of microsoft deciding that you can't have the taskbar on the side of your screen anymore cause uhhh.... yeah :)

I grew up using a trackball mouse as my first mouse so it was like a weird nostalgic muscle memory getting to use one again, and now when I go to use a regular mouse it makes me a minute to rewire my brain and remember how to use a normal mouse lol.

I don't know why we as a society decided to keep using the laser-facing-down style classic mouse instead of the track ball. It takes a little relearning if you're not used to it but damn, once you get used to it it is so good and way more comfortable.

as just a way to cut down on that type of stuff cropping up in the first place. Surely with the 10 bazillion dollars they invest into "AI", they can use it to nuke animal abuse channels from orbit? right? Shouldn't be that hard to delete channels that only feature monkeys being used as props?

and the most baffling part is, this has been going on for YEARS. Monkey abuse channels have been a thing forever, whether they're torturing them or dressing them up and making them do tricks. I wouldn't even see a problem with youtube just flat out auto banning people who only upload monkey videos-

also insane you can't report an entire channel for animal abuse content, nor is animal abuse a specific topic to select for reporting. Must I click on every single video on a channel and report each for violent content, then manually type an essay for each on why monkey abuse is bad?

innovations and rapid prototyping and development of all these indie devs remixing each other's ideas creates lots of different versions of games that improve upon the genre, meaning more fun games for everyone! Also, its funny cause like, Doom-like, Quake-like, Rogue-like, are the same idea lol.
