Trying to deal with the stress of a university assignment by making origami dragons is healthy, right?
An array of 8 origami dragons of varying designs, and one origami crane. They are all on a dark reflective surface. I failed to hide all of the mess on other parts of the table too.

I honestly think the butterfly was harder to make, except for the bit where I lost one of the components of the other and was wondering why it didn't all fit together properly...

I like the contrasts in this - to me it feels like the woods are on their way to attack the buildings, and they are going to win. Puts me in mind of the scottish play. I took it a couple of years ago at a light show (hence the strange reds and blues). The moon was full and the aesthetic appealed.
The full moon is in the centre of a square picture. It is partly covered by some of the branches of a large evergreen tree coming in from the right. The tree is red lit. On the left, looking comparatively small and further away are a few mildly blue lit trees, and a large blocky building. Perspective makes the building look much smaller than the red lit tree, though larger than the blue lit ones. Silhouettes of some unlit trees are visible to the left. There is a thick power line around two thirds of the way up the picture, dissapearing behind the red tree. I worry that when the tree attacks it may get tangled in the cord and potentially catch fire.

I have been making origami winged hearts and origami cranes for years. I decided to increase my repetoir, so here are my first attempts at modular origami.
Several pieces of modular origami. Bottom left is a simple octagonal wreath shape in marbled blue and pink paper. Top right is a many-sided pointy piece with lots of symmetry (also in marbled paper). In between are two small marbled cubes and one larger patterned cube. In the top left is some spare paper and some attempts at making pieces that I haven't quite got the hang of yet. Four origami winged hearts of varying sizes and two sizes of origami crane. On marbled paper in pink/blue/sand colours.

Giant ice fork!
(No really, that's all I have to say. I just thought this icicle shaped like a (broken) fork was pretty cool.)
Icicle on the post of a metal fence that has split into three at the bottom in a way that makes it look rather like a dinner fork. It is melting and there is a break in the handle just above where it splits into tines.

I'm not sure what it is about this, but *something* in how everything lined up called to me. Do you ever find yourself taking random pictures of things that you're pretty sure no-one other than you will ever see the appeal of?

Pic from a few months ago: Squirrel very curious about what's in the hole in the rock, and completely unperturbed by my presence.

Squirrel does not care about me (though would perhaps have changed its mind if I'd had appropriate food on me to offer it, or, I guess, if I'd stood up - though these actions would likely have achieved opposite effects).

I'm really enjoying having a multi-media sketchbook small enough to carry around easily. It fits in a small makeup bag with my travel watercolours, some pens and pencils, and a couple of line-drawing tools.

I'm quite pleased with how my new Snag tights combine with my thigh tattoo. I wasn't hugely excited about their advent tights except these ones, which I adore.
A blue wyvern / dragon is visible through the sheer area of tights that otherwise show a fantasy-esque town / castle and snowflakes. The sheer area is black, the solid area is a blue-ish grey.

I enjoyed this doodle, and got to use the lovely new crayons from my inlaws. I would be writing more, but I *need* to use specifically my green notebook for writing, and I managed to leave that in NJ 🤦‍♀️

(Any guidance on how to improve my alt-text for abstract images would be appreciated)
