CENTCOM entering the tesseract in order to tell their past selves bombing the Houthis would accomplish nothing.

A US Air Force C-17 (03-3127) has filed a plan as RCH260 to depart from Kelly Field (KSKF) in San Antonio and fly to Misrata Airport (HLMS) in Libya today. This is possibly the military deportation flight reported on below by the NYTimes. (Data from @thebaldgeek.bsky.social 's website).

Hopefully these geniuses can move on to the Navy so we can replace our expensive LCACs with faster and more economical tactical jetskis

Even more fun fact to keep you up at night, the below tweet is technically incorrect; the Dassault Rafale is interoperable with US Carriers. Kill the F-35, and we are at the mercy of the frogs.
Fun fact to keep you awake at night: If F-35 buys get cut, the Navy gets ZERO new combat aircraft for at least four years. There are ZERO active or in development production lines for carrier combat aircraft outside the F-35 lines. Naval aviation lives or dies with the F-35
We are going to be relitigating the F-35 program until the heat death of the universe

I think this is pretty obvious, but there is an enormous underlying risk to nuclear-armed states lobbing cruise and ballistic missiles at each other. The uncertainty of what they are tipped with, which has to be decided while they are in the air, can lead to unintended and catastrophic escalation.
India is preparing military action in response to the Pahalgam attack, with plans for stand-off weaponry targeting Pakistan underway. New Delhi blames Pakistan, including its Army Chief, and is considering cruise and ballistic missile options, per government sources.-India Express

FYI Yokosuka is the only naval base servicing USN carriers which can complete a maintenance availability on time and on budget. This is mostly due to the fact that the Japanese contractors there are much better at their jobs than the typical shipyard bubbas you find in Norfolk.
Trump has once again questioned the US-Japan Alliance: "We defend them but they don't have to defend us...We pay hundreds of billions of dollars to defend them...We pay all the money. They don't pay anything."
[Japan pays money to support the US bases. Significantly more than other allies.]

Iran is supposedly pulling its people out of Yemen, according to @telegraphnews.bsky.social. This comes only a few weeks after the US accidentally exposed that Mossad has a human source on the ground who fingered the Houthi's main missile guy so that an F-18 could drop some bombs on his head. Hmmm 🤔

Israel doesn't need access to Gulf state airspace to strike Iran, and neither does the US (B-2's in Diego Garcia the biggest example). This messaging isn't about the Gulf States protecting Iran, it's about them warning Iran not to violate their sovereignty during any counterattacks on US bases. 1/2

For Russia's supply of drones and missiles?
Putin: Russia warns the United States that strikes on Iran would have catastrophic consequences.

Interesting transfer of equipment from INDOPACOM to CENTCOM. Hard to say what it is, there is a large amount of equipment prepositioned in Korea which could be shifted to the Middle East. Movement is another signal indicating CENTCOM is positioning units/equipment for some operation/contingency.
Significant movement from Osan AB, South Korea to Isa AB, Bahrain is underway.

At least 13 US Air Force C-17A Globemaster III's have arrived at Osan in the last 3 days. Four have left Osan and arrived at Isa AB. Mission coding is sequential suggesting that these flights are linked.

Geolocation of a USAF F-16 conducting a 'counter air operation' at an undisclosed location in CENTCOM's AOR last week. Photo was taken over the Red Sea & the southwestern Saudi coast ~350 km from the border with Yemen. These patrols are meant to intercept Houthi missiles and drones. (19.487, 40.958)

Masterful gambit by Hegseth inspiring half the national security team to perjure themselves in front of Congress yesterday. WH needs to have this imbecile breathalyzed before allowing him to speak to the press in the future.
Hegseth probably had a few too many mini bottles on his flight to realize that Jeffrey Goldberg and the Atlantic are still sitting on the most sensitive parts of the group chat and could publish them just to refute these pathetic denials.
Reporter: Why were those details shared on signal?

Hegseth: Nobody was texting war plans

It is May 1st 2011, Operation Neptune Spear has been given the green light. Tom Dillon accidentally invites Dwayne the Rock Johnson into the OBL pc small group along with Hillary, Biden, Robert Gates, and Leon Panetta. The rest is history.

Reading about VP "say thank you" Vance seething in the Trump admin's war planning group chat about Europeans needing to pay for American military adventures in Yemen is so on brand for the worst VP is modern American history.
New from Jeffrey Goldberg: The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans

"U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling."

From @theintelfrog.bsky.social, This is likely staging fighters and other equipment (Air defense?) for anti Houthi operations. Prince Sultan is the best-positioned air base with a large US presence near Yemen. So far the US Navy has been conducting the campaign alone, expect USAF will join soon.

Geolocation of a US Navy F-18 Super Hornets formation flight assigned to the USS Harry Truman at an 'undisclosed location' in CENTCOM's AOR earlier this month. The refueling flight transited south over Southern Jordan near the Israeli Border and Red Sea. (29.603773°, 35.123853°)
