Integral Care's goal is to continue growing our resources and capacity so that our neighbors can be kept housed and safe. Programs like HOST, PATH/ACCESS, and Safe Haven show that direct outreach combined with person-centered care can help us reach that goal effectively.

In their 2025 State of the System report, Austin ECHO reported:
The # of available beds went ⬆️ 108%
The time between housing assessment and move-in went ⬇️ by ~4 months
Most notably, the rate of folks becoming homeless for the first time went ⬇️ by 5%, the first decrease in their system since 2020!

The program has also strengthened our relationship with the Sobering Center! Madie has been instrumental in fostering trust and rapport with the Center, allowing us to create alternative ways to keep clients in a continuum of care, and engaged in services.

Typical short-term substance use disorder intervention may not include a warm handoff back into the community; Bridge 2 Recovery gives clients a point person as they continue to make progress. ⤵️

This allows them to regularly pick up prescriptions, meet with their groups and case manager, or with Madie, if they do not have one. With Madie, clients set goals to work towards, like finding employment, long-term disability support, or SNAP benefits. ⤵️

Bridge 2 Recovery helps neighbors across the space between treatment and life after treatment. Madie is the main point of contact for new clients referred To Bridge 2 Recovery! She meets with and enrolls referrals into the program and assigns them a level of care and a clinic. ⤵️

Clients referred to Integral Care through Bridge 2 Recovery are neighbors who need case management or long-term care. Very often, people who are discharged after recovering from intoxication are not handed the proper tools they need if they have an underlying SUD. ⤵️

Referrals in our system of care are facilitated as needed to help clients thrive in all areas, such as housing and employment. 2025 has been a great year for the Oak Springs Treatment Program so far! This year, the team has seen 58 clients finish the program and continue their journey to recovery. ⤵️

and building upon their own natural supports. Staff support clients in their recovery from substance use disorder via group counseling, mental health support, and case management. Education and life skills training are integrated throughout treatment to help clients get their bearings in recovery. ⤵️
