Have any of my Mac-using friends been brave enough to pull the trigger on Asahi yet? I’m super curious how close it is to daily driver status.

The number of DNS requests our various devices send/receive over a 24-hour period is bananas. We don’t see any of this with our eyes, but your devices are sending *enormous* amounts of info about you. This is what my network saw over the last 24 hours. Zoinks!

Chilling in the pit tonight. The orchestra pit. Not to be confused with the pit of hell we all find ourselves in at this moment.

Anyone who voted for the Moldy Orange under the belief things were going to get cheaper in America, you're about to have a VERY rude awakening.

Many, many more things are about to get more expensive.

Just remember, you asked for this, and now we all get to pay for it.

So. Much. Winning.

One has to wonder if this was deliberately manipulated, or if someone just noticed it the way some people see Jesus on toast.

For all you #severance watchers, Adam Scott said the running scene in S2, ep1 took 5 months on and off to film him sprinting in a hallway. Dunno why it took so long but who cares since Severance is back. #lumoniswatchingyou

For those who play them, Marvel Rivals reminds me of Overwatch back when it was cool, before Blizz began its string of poor choices. MR feels slick, polished, and just plain fun.

Hopping to BlueSky ahead of the curve is like moving from the city where you know everyone on the block, to a small rural town where the closest neighbor is over the river and through the woods out past grandma’s old farm.

Ahh everyone sorted into their proper place. Creating lists, pinning to feeds, and customizing feed order makes this app infinitely easier to navigate.

I’m probably late to the lists party, but I just discovered lists on BlueSky. What a godsend. It took a bit of work, but I’ve now sorted everyone and everything I follow into various lists pinned to my feeds up top. Handy not having to scroll through a bunch of other stuff just to find friends.

I’m late to the party and have just gotten around to binging 3 Body Problem. Nerd me was happy to see them using quantum entanglement to explain some of the goings on with the plot.

If you’re a fan of original Trek and know the storylines of the TOS films, this is beautiful.

Ahh, it’s so nice to see a feed that isn’t a politically-charged cesspool of arguing. No bots (at least, none that I’ve seen), and no drama. Just normal, mostly sane people posting normal, mostly sane things.
