Tuesday’s ruling that the CA FAIR plan’s smoke policy is illegal marks a victory for L.A. fire survivors like Etta in Altadena, whose house was contaminated with lead & other toxins. FAIR refused to cover costs, forcing Etta to seek volunteer help to make her home livable again.
