Archer, bowyer and regular idiot
Making a tiny bow isn't too difficult. This is a small 60 cm maple bow with an imperfect tiller but still shoots decent as a toy. Recommend just taking a small scrap of wood and giving it a shot:)

Saw the competition posted a while ago. I do want to shoot more 3Ds but haven't had much time and need to make more arrows

Thanks for the link! My personal interest is more into the bow aspect but would love to make matching arrows.

Yes they are, for my current project I got to handle th Egyptian bow but not the arrows. So i dont have any further quality photos of them. But the arrows are about 80-90cm long, 20-30cm are the hardwood foreshaft and the rest is the reed/cane, with the arrow nock on the node.

It's kind of funny, I am in the process of studying and replicating Egyptian bow (est. 1600-1500bc) in the National Museum of Antiquities in Leiden. The arrows are indeed Reed with a hardwood foreshaft and sometimes still have the flint arrowhead. More info on materials: doi.org/10.2307/3821...
