A bit of an identikit day. In, take handover, admin, plenty going on - aftermath of big job the day before - team come in for nights - opportunity for a briefing with them. Some more work falls out of that … trying to get volunteers for some unpopular training.

Back up to date. Checked yesterday’s work; integrated the best bits of a national document and now sent for checking. May well need a re-write after. Started an Equality Impact Assessment. Because we do that now. The TL:DR is it doesn’t impact at all. Not to any degree.

5/9 - early shift and no cover. Cleared the 80 odd emails accrued this week and have a detailed plan to rewrite an outdated policy document. Why? Because if shit goes wrong, it’s the second place they’ll look.
