We're specifically concerned about using this treatment on "people who suffer from the final blows of incurable illness".

Nobody doubts that CPR saves lives. What we're worried about is the terminally ill spending their final hours with broken ribcages.

Don't you feel out of place as a conservative on this platform?

Everyone who disagrees with me is a bot 🤡

If this is all the dirt you've got on him, he sounds like a pretty great candidate. He can do a lot more as mayor than he can do as an assembly member; why wouldn't campaigning be his priority?

Who cares?

I think it's great that vote splitting won't be an issue. It's a lot more democratic than strategic voting for the lesser evil candidate.

I heard about COVID when it was just a small outbreak in Wuhan. Doctors said it was worrying, so I kept an open tab on the worldometers page and watched the numbers tick up, up, up.

I've had a similar feeling watching the global resurgance of the far right for a long time.

Yeah I need a citation for this

A generational POS that fully utilized populist messaging and promised real transformation in American politics.

Don't get me wrong, the Republicans absolutely planned to steal this election — they tried it in 2020 and they had four more years to prepare. I'm just mad because they didn't even have to; the Democrats earned this outcome.

You can prove the 2024 election was stolen?
June 5, 2025 at 11:15 PM
Conspiratorial thinking bothers me because it leads to faulty analysis. The right has to rely on conspiracy because reality is on our side; the left doesn't need to give up its high ground.
June 5, 2025 at 11:12 PM
When isn't there vote manipulation? Voter suppression is a decades-long Republican passtime.

That still doesn't absolve the DNC of completely shitting the bed and throwing this election to Trump.
June 5, 2025 at 11:02 PM
One small wrinkle; Harris was more popular than Biden.

An alternate-universe, white male Harris would have also lost. You can't boil this election result down to "Well the Democrats ran a candidate with too many X chrosomes".
June 5, 2025 at 10:56 PM
The blueanon stuff isn't helpful. The Democrats lost because Harris was a soulless suit and Walz was muzzled by the DNC. All they had to offer was little tweaks to a system that suppressed wages, made healthcare a luxury good, and home ownership a pipe dream. No shit they lost, fair and square.

AOC is the future of the party. Democrats aren't going to win with Biden 2
June 5, 2025 at 9:25 PM
All the worst democrats are funded by Wallstreet. Zohran as mayor of NYC would be a leap in the right direction for the Democratic party brand.

AOC and Zohran are united by shared progressive values, and it's vital that they support one another because they're opposed within their own party.
