I have recently learned this about owls and I love this fact a lot because I have an owl tattooed on my arm and, much like owls, am a dumbass with a reputation for being much smarter because, idk, I have a deep look about me or something
TIL that India has the only accurate culture conception of an Owl, an animal with problem solving skills ranked somewhere between those of a carrot and a potato.

Tekken 8 got a post-launch microtransaction shop in an update and the community's all "yea 5 quid for a single costume seems fair". Unbelievable the extent to which we've been desensitised to this shit
I really do get the sense that a majority of gamers have just given up with regards to microtransactions in full price games after the push-back against NFTs, and it absolutely stinks, because this is always how previously egregious stuff gets normalized in gaming.
