I’ve struggled with this from the opposite perspective, that being am I less fun to make suffer because I express my anguish “unsexily” and fairly quickly? IME, Sir is more interested in genuine reactions than anything acted, be that enjoyment or misery. Your Mistress may hold a similar sentiment.

That’s what I ended up doing this time: putting the email address into the address bar and letting the email system verify it was accurate before sending out the email. Alas, Bluesky gets the gripes I cannot shout into the professional void. 😅
