I have finally finished watching all twelve episodes of School Days' anime adaptation. To be perfectly honest, I don't think that was as awful as many say it is. With that said, School Days isn't really good either.

Okay, so far, I'm six episodes into School Days. I'm not ready to judge the series as a whole, but one thing I will say, Makoto might be the most detestable protagonist in all of Japanese fiction. I get that's kinda the point, but it's still hard for me to find him sympathetic or endearing.

Loona smiling will never not be precious. Usually stoic characters putting on a smile or otherwise expressing their emotions is one of my favorite tropes.

I know NPCs are usually given a one-time appearance, but it would be really cool to see the Evil Big Tops re-appear in one of the remaining TADC episodes. Those characters have so much untapped potential. I especially love Evil Jax, I think he's very adorable.

It amazes me how critics who label themselves as "progressive" do this. You can't have flawed minority characters, because that's bad writing. You can't depict rape or SA a certain way, because that's bad writing. And no matter what, you always have to justify the joy some media brings you.
Are all the female characters in your fandom poorly written or do you just hold them to impossible standards that dont apply to male characters?

Writing a multi-crossover fic between Elfen Lied, Tokyo Ghoul, and Parasyte: The Maxim. Due to the similarities between each of these anime, I think their premises would work well together. I'm still a beginner at writing, so I don't think my story will be that good, but I'll still try.
