This is Annie. She is a dental therapy dog. Her job is to help patients experiencing anxiety by providing emotional support. While dentists go through years of schooling to treat patients Annie is able to lower their blood pressure and reduce anxiety just by being there. 14/10 (TT: funny.bunny9215)

I’ve been reading the Invincible comic compendium’s throughout my wife’s breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. I finished compendium three yesterday. It was such an incredible run. I did not want to leave that world. Feels like I’ve lost a dear friend.

Hi, it’s been a while. 2025 has likely been the worst year of my entire life and we’re just getting to the half way point. Just here to BlueSky about how rekindling my love for/interest in comics/graphic novels and playing through the Final Fantasy pixel remasters has been the best distraction.

Perhaps not the best idea to read this during such an emotionally tumultuous time (losing a teenage niece to a brain tumor, dog has lung cancer, general state of things), but @jasonkirk.fyi ‘s Hell is a World Without You was incredible. Having grown up in this kind of world, it was so relatable.
