“Maximally competitive” is always backward looking and doesn’t respond to changing populaces unless you redistrict often. I like multi-member districts with proportional allocation on a per district basis.

And my worst transfer experience continues to have been that one time at Logan where I had to take a bus on surface streets to switch terminals.
